Grandparents

These are the first two pieces we created that started it all. They are made of paper mache face forms layered with Birch bark and many other natural materials. They started less complex but they have collected many of our unique found items through the years.

Mind Grown

“Mind Grown” is made to be a piece of living art with a live plant as part of its main component. It is made from an inverted pitcher handle gourd as the base. The face was sculpted and paper-mashed and includes cured trumpet vines. The eyes are made from mother of pearl and river rock. The bottom base is a piece of knotty pine with sycamore bark.
